DISCS
Depending on the quality of the disc and the condition of the
recording,someCDR/CDRWdiscmaynotbeplayable.
Always place the disc on the disc tray with the label facing
upward.(Compactdiscscanbeplayedorrecordedonlyononeside)
To
moveadiscfromitsstoragecase,pre ssdownonthecenterofthe
caseandliftthediscout,holdingitcarefullybytheedges.
If the disc becomes dirty, wipe the surface from the center hole
outwardtowardstheouteredgewithasoft,drycloth.
Never use such chemicals as record spray, antistatic sprays or fluid,
benzine or thinner to clean the discs. Such chemicals will do
irreparabledamagetothedisc'splasticsurface.
Discs should be returned to their cases after use to avoid dust and
scratchesthatcouldcausethelaserpick
up“skip.
Do not expose discs to direct sunlight or high humidit y and
temperatureforextendperiods.Longexposuretohightemperatures
willwarpthedisc.
Printable CDR and CDRWdiscsare not recommended,asthelabel
sidemightbestickyanddamagetheunit.
Use a soft oilbased felttipped pen to write the information on the
label side. Never use a ballpoint or hardtipped pen, as this may
causedam agetotherecordedside.
Do not use CDs with an
irregular shape (octagonal,
heart shaped, business card
size,etc).CDsof
thissortcandamagetheunit.
If you ha ve any doubts of using CDR/CDRW disc, read the
precautions supplied with the disc, or contact the disc manufacture
directly.
