REMOTECONTROLUNIT

RemoteControlUnitcanoperatetheunitfromadistance.
Whenoperatingtheremotecontrolunit,pointittowardsthefrontpanel
oftheunit.

z Eveniftheremotecontrolunitisoperatedwithintheeff ectiverange,
remote control operation may be impossible if there are any
obstaclesbetween
theunitandtheremotecontrol.
z If the remote control unit is operated near other appliances which
generate infrared rays, or if other remote control devices using
infrared rays are used near the unit, it may operate incorrectly.
Conversely,theotherappliancesmayoperateincorrectly.


BATTERYINSTALLATION

1.Removethebatterycompartmentcover.
2.Inserttwo“AAA”batteries.Makesurethat
thebatteriesareinsertedwiththeir positive
“+”andnegative“‐“positionedcorrectly.
3.Closethecover.

BatteryReplacement
Ifthedistancerequired between the remotecontrolunitand main unit
decreases, the batteries are exhausted.
 In this case, please replace the
batterieswithnewones.

Precautionsconcerningbatteries
z Besuretoinsertthebatterieswithcorrectpositive+ andnegative‐
polarities.
z Usebatteriesofthesametype,neverusedifferenttypesofbatteries
together.
z Rechargeable andnon‐re‐chargeablebatteriescan be
 used.Refer to
theprecautionsontheirlabels.
z Whentheremotecontrolunitisnottobeusedforalongtime(more
thanamonth),removethebatteriesfromtheremotecontrolunitto
preventthem from leaking.Iftheyleak,wipeaway the liquid inside
thebattery
compartmentandreplacethebatterieswithnewones.
