rine-gradegreaseregularly.Thisallowsforcontinuedproperoperationandwillhelpinthe
ease of operating the handle as well.
• Attachthewinchtotheboweyeontheboatforloading.ThewinchshouldNEVER be at-
tached to any other component of the boat.
Attaching the winch to any other component of the boat other than the
bow eye, and attempting to load the boat can result in damage to the
boat. This is not covered under warranty.
• Donotrelyonthewinchtobetheonlymannerinwhichtheboatisheldonthetrailer.Useall
othertie-downsasdescribedelsewhereinthisOwner’sManual.Thewinchisinsuicientto
hold the boat in place.

Thetrailerisequippedwithatrailerjack,whichservesseveralpurposes.
Thetrailerjackcanholdandliftthetrailertopositionforloweringonthehitch
ball of the tow vehicle. It is also useful for assisting and balancing as a trailer rests
free of the tow vehicle or is moved.
Rotate the trailer jack so that it is vertical, and snap the locking pin before
placing any kind of load on the trailer jack. Always retract and rotate back into the
horizontal position for stowing or towing.
