Dynamicrangeisthedifferenceinlightlevelsinanimage.Insomecasesthedifferencebetween
thedarkestandthebrightestareascanbesignificant.Theresultisoftenanimagewhereeitherthe
darkorthebrightareasarevisible.Widedynamicrange(WDR)makesbothdarkandbrightareasof
theimagevisible.
