The body worn system allows you to import your body worn users from a CSV UTF-8 (Comma
delimited) file. This is the most efficient way to add new users, as well as update usernames
and camera profiles for existing body worn users with a user ID.
To import body worn users:
2. Click to add a new user.
3. Enter user information:
3.1. Name of the user.
3.2. User's unique ID within the organization. This ID can displayed in the overlay.
3.3. Optionally, enter the AXIS Case Insight username.
Note
This option is presented only if you’re using AXIS Case Insight.
When you enter a user’s email address as username, a corresponding guest user
is created in AXIS Case Insight. This guest user has no access to any recorded
evidence in the system. Access rights for the user are managed in AXIS Case
Insight.
You can’t enter or change the username for an existing user. To do this, you must
remove the user and add it again.
3.4. Choose a Camera profile
4. Click Add user.
Import body worn users
1. Go to Users.
2. Open the context menu and click Import users.
3. Download the CSV template, which shows you the correct format for the users and user
IDs.
4. Enter the users and user IDs in the CSV file.
5. Click Select CSV file and select the file that you created.
6. Resolve any conflicts shown in the status window and then click Import.
