5-5. Installation resistance test
CAUTION
As a general rule, please do not perform the insulation resistance test.
Performing this test may result in damage to the varistor for absorbing internal surge
voltage.
If you absolutely must perform the test, please perform it carefully in accordance with the
designated procedures.
5-5-1. Test procedures
Disconnect the device's external wiring.
Short circuit the + and - terminals of the input and output respectively.
Perform the tests between ground terminal and its respective short-circuit between the +
and - terminals.
Applied voltage and judgment standards are as follows. To avoid damage to the instrument,
do not apply voltage greater than the values listed below.

The judgment standard for the test is as follows:
