TIRES, WHEELS AND BALLAST
TIRE TYPE
Though the tire pressure is factory
set to the prescribed level, it naturally
drops slowly in the course of time.
Thus, check it everyday and inflate
as necessary.
(1) Tire (2) Wheel nut
(3) Rim
WHEEL AND AXLE
If the wheel or axle is loosened, tighten
to the specied torque.
1. Dr
ive the tractor about 110 yds
(100 m) and tighten it to the
specified torque.
2. Inspect the wheel and axle every
10 hours of engine run or every 3
hours of working.
3. Inspect all wheels and axles fre-
quently and securely tighten if nec-
essary.
CAUTION
Never operate the tractor with
a loose rim, wheel, hub or axle.
When operating a new tractor
or when removing the wheel,
follow the procedures above.
NOTE
POWER STEERING
Pay attention to the steering
wheels while driving, because
it can be very lightly manipu-
lated when the engine is run-
ning.
Power steering will run only
when engine is running. When
engine is idling, power steer-
ing may feel a little heavy.
If the wheels are steered to the
maximum, the relief valve is
opened and a warning sound
will be made. Do not continue
to operate the tractor with the
warning sound.
Do not steer the wheels un-
necessarily, because steering
the wheel without moving will
attribute to early wear of tires
and rims.
CAUTION
