3. Place the hand throttle lever to the
Minimum position.
4. After the thermostat lamp has
turned o󰀨, depress the clutch ped-
al fully and turn main key switch to
start.
(1) Hand Throttle Lever
: Faster Engine RPM (A)
: Slower Engine RPM (B)
5. Turn the main key switch to the
"START" position. When the en-
gine is started, take your hand o󰀨
the key.
6. Increase the engine to about 1,500
rpm and warm it up for about ve
minutes without a load.
IMPORTANT
•
Do not operate the start mo-
tor more than 20 seconds at a
time. If the start motor won't
start, wait until the motor is
cooled down at least for 2 min-
utes and then try again.
