GALAXY Gateway Information Screen

The screen shown below is an example of the GALAXY gateway information screen filled with sample data. The gateway type
and serial number are shown at the top of each screen. A Refresh button is also displayed. Click Refresh to reload the current
gateway settings. All fields are read only.

GALAXY Gateway Information
Field Description
Serial Number The serial number assigned to the gateway. The serial number is shown on a label on the side of the
gateway receiver enclosure.
Backhaul Refers to the communication method between the gateway and the reading data management
software. Options are CDMA, GPRS, LAN or WiFi.
List Mode Open/Positive. “Open” indicates the gateway hears any endpoints in range. “Positive” indicates the
gateway hears assigned endpoints only.
Firmware Version Firmware version of the gateway.
Endpoint Count The number of endpoints assigned to the gateway.
Repeater Count n/a
RSSIz Reflects the backhaul signal strength. The value changes based on backhaul cellular communication.
RSSIy n/a
RSSIx n/a
KA Sent Count The number of Keep Alive messages sent. The number depends on the value at which the KA is set.
GALAXY Gateway Receiver Card Status
Field Description
RF Frequency Unique licensed frequency assigned to the utility.
RF Firmware Ver Version of firmware the gateway is running.
Current State Reset/Active/Inactive. “Active” displays when the gateway is operating.
Next State Reset/Active/Inactive. “Active” displays when the gateway is operating.
Current Error Code(s) that identify any current issue reported by the gateway.
Last Error Code(s) that identify any previous issue reported by the gateway.
