The system is scanning for the sensors
Sensor Scan/ID Assignment screen with the sensors list populated
TheGatewayscansforconnectedsensorsfor20seconds,asindicatedbytheredScanning....messagedisplayedat
the bottom of the screen. Previously undetected devices appear in the table as ID 1 in the second column. The model
nameandsensortypeshouldmatchtheattachedsensor/converter.Wheninitiallycommissioningdevices,itisimpor
tanttoconnect only one new sensor/converter at a time. The gateway scans for new devices based on the default
SID #1 so it is also important to change all identified devices' SID # when you will be adding more than one device.
Tochangethedetecteddevices'SID#,highlightthesensorneedingtobechangedbytouchingtherowinwhichitap
pearsandselectChange ID.TouchYestoconfirm.
TheEnter New IDfieldautomaticallyincrementstotheclosestavailableSID#.(Thisfieldisalsomanuallyconfig
urable.) After a SID # has changed, the sensor table repopulates and displays the new SID # associated with the
learned device. All previously learned sensors continue to appear in the table unless they are deleted from the system
using this screen.
