B. Modifications (MOD) and Options (OPT) stamped on Identification Label:
(1) MOD A: Remove unused diodes from PCB P/N 471-00163, all Units
(2) MOD B: Remove unused parts from PCBs P/N 471-00165 & P/N 471-00166, new
production
(3) MOD C: Add timing capacitor to PCB P/N 471-00164, new production, customer
units as needed.
(4) MOD D: Increase capacitance simulator maximum excitation, new production,
customer units as needed.
Note: There are no Options for the DFQ40K Test Set as of this writing.
C. The Owner's Warranty Registration card (Figure 2), is to be completed by the owner and
returned to Barfield, Inc. within ten (10) days of purchase to ensure automatic update of
printed matter and validation of warranty.

D. Each new or re-certified unit is delivered with a Certificate (not pictured) that shows the
date when the unit was tested by the manufacturer, its serial number, and when the next
certification is due. This certificate confirms that the unit performed according to its
design specifications.
E. The DFQ40K Limited One Year Warranty can be seen in Figure 3.
