HYDRAULIC PRESSURE SETTINGS (495ML)
RELIEF VALVES
TheReliefValveportionofthecontrolvalvesinyourBarkoLoaderlimittheowofhydraulicoil,whichrelieves
the excess pressure in the hydraulic system, if for any reason pressure is built up above a predetermined, safe,
maximum.
CAUTION
The relief valve pressure setting has been arrived at by our engineers after
considerable experience with and testing of this loader. The setting will provide
maximumsafetyandefciencyofoperation.DONOTALTERTHISRELIEF
SETTING! Relief settings increased beyond this setting could be dangerous to life,
limb and property.
The following is a list of pressure settings used on your Barko Loader. Any questions should be directed to the

K170 UPPER VALVE SYSTEM (see also Hydraulic Pressure Adjustments for the K170 Valve):
Pump Compensator (working pressure) ........................................ 3600 PSI (248 Bar)
Main Boom - up (butt end of main boom cylinder)......................... 4000 PSI (276 Bar).......... at the Port Relief.
Main Boom - down (rod end of main boom cylinder) ..................... 1800 PSI (124 Bar).......... at the Port Relief.
