Elimination of malfunctions
General remarks on eliminating malfunctions:
• Switch off the machine (exceptions: see *)
• Eliminate malfunction
• Switch on the unit
• Notify Service if messages appear repeatedly.
• Have servicing work carried out only by author-
ized BEGO workshops!

Danger to life!
Repairs, particularly of electrical
parts, must only be carried out by
qualified persons or the after-sales
service staff.
Switch off the machine and pull out
the mains plug before eliminating any
malfunctions!
Burn hazard from hot parts!
Let the unit cool down until it is warm
to the touch before carrying out any
care, maintenance or cleaning work.
Hazards from formation of dust!
The furnace insulation contains parts
made of ceramic fibre / aluminium
silicate fibre. In the event of
pronounced dust generation,
diseases of the lungs or of the pleura
may occur (fibrosis, cancer). Use a
breathing protection mask (type
FFP 2 EN 149:2001) when carrying
out maintenance work on the
insulation with dust generation.
Malfunction Cause Elimination
After switching on unit, display is
blank
No current • Check in-house power net-
work / socket.
• Check installation

door is closed
Door switch is stuck or defective • Check door switch.
• Call customer service.
