6.0 RS232 Interface
The UNITEST Hexagon Multimeter
is equipped with an infrared RS232
interface.
The software including the interfa-
ce adapter (order no. 1243), availa-
ble as option, allow the transfer to
PC and further processing of mea-
surement data.
7.0 Special Functions
7.1 Auto-Power-Off
The Multimeters UNITEST
Hexagon are equipped with an
automatic power-off function. This
function becomes active 17 min
after the last pressing of a function
key, last switching of the measure-
ment function selection switch, or
if the measurement value falls
below 10% of the measurement
range. To activate the multimeter,
either press the key or
switch the multimeter off and then
on. If the key is pressed
during switching-on, the auto-
power-off function is disabled.
7.2 Signal Sound
If the key Hz is pressed during
switch-on, the signal sound is dis-
abled. Switching the multimeter
off and on reactivates the signal
sound.
7.3 Backlight
The Multimeters UNITEST Hexa-
gon are equipped with backlight.
By pressing key the back-
light is switched on. After approx.
30s the backlight is switched off
automatically to save battery
power.
