7.4 MAX/MIN-Funktion
(UNITEST Hexagon 330 /340)
The MAX/MIN function enables
easy detection of top or bottom
measurement data of a measure-
ment. By pressing the key
the MAX/MIN function is activated.
LCD: MAX MIN
An acoustic signal is audible for
every new maximum and mini-
mum value of the present measu-
rement.
LCD: MAX
The top value (maximum value) of
the present measurement is dis-
played.
LCD: MIN
The bottom value (minimum
value) of the present measurement
is displayed.
LCD: MAX-MIN
The difference between the top and
the bottom value of the present
measurement are displayed.
7.5 CREST Function
(UNITEST Hexagon 330/340)
The CREST function (Peak Hold)
enables detection of the maximum
and minimum values of short sig-
nals (< 5 ms). Thus it is possible,
for example, to measure the peak
value of a sinus voltage and to cal-
culate the crest factor (the respec-
tive accuracy values have to be
met).
Pressing the key activates
the CREST function. The CREST
function only works for the follo-
wing ranges: DC voltage, AC volta-
ge, DC current and AC current.
LCD: and MAX
An acoustic signal is audible for
every new minimum or maximum
signal. The highest signal is indi-
cated.
LCD: and MIN
An acoustic signal is audible for
every new minimum or maximum
signal. The lowest signal is indica-
ted.
