5.3 SETTING THE CRUISE CONTROL
WARNING!
Cruise control should only be used in the forward position on
relatively smooth, straight surfaces, and should never be used on
slopes or rough terrain.
Activate Cruise Control
1. While driving the mower forward, press the accelerator pedal until the
desired rate of speed is achieved.
2. Press the cruise control button. The light around the button will illuminate to
show cruise control is active.
3. Release the accelerator pedal. Mower speed should remain constant.
Deactivate Cruise Control
1. Choose one of the following options to deactivate cruise control:
a. Tap on the accelerator pedal.
b. Press the brake pedal.
c. Press the cruise control button.
2. The light around the cruise control button will go out to indicate cruise
control is no longer active.
