6.7 REPLACING BATTERIES
WARNING!
DO NOT attempt to destroy or disassemble battery pack or
remove any of its components. Lead-acid batteries must be
recycled or disposed of properly. NEVER touch both terminals
with metal objects and body parts as short circuit may result.
Keep away from children. Keep away from other metal objects
like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal
objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another.
Failure to comply with these warnings could result in fire and /or
serious injury.
Under extreme usage or temperature conditions, battery leakage
may occur. If liquid comes in contact with your skin, wash
immediately with soap and water. If liquid gets into your eyes,
flush them with clean water for at least 10 minutes, then seek
immediate medical attention.
This mower operates on four 12V batteries connected in a series. If replacing one
or more of the batteries, always replace using a battery of the same type with equal
voltage and capacity.
1. Stop the mower as described in Section 4.2 and remove the key.
2. Lift the seat forward and pull out the seat sensing cable from the middle
joint.
3. Remove the 6 screws xing the upper cover, pull out the connection cable
between the charging socket and the riding mower, and take out the upper
cover.
4. Disconnect all the connecting wires between the battery and the riding
mower from the joints.
5. Remove the battery bead and screw of the battery waterproof cover,
