6.2 REMOVING THE CUTTING DECK
If desired, the cutting deck can be removed from the mower to make accessing the
blades easier.
1. Stop the mower as described in Section 4.2 and remove the key.
2. Lower the position of the deck to the lowest level.
3. Disconnect the wire connecting the riding mower motor and the riding
mower (the left cutting deck wire connects to the right controller line, the
right cutting deck wire connects to the left controller line). Rotate the cable
counter clockwise to lock, and turn clockwise to loosen.
4. Remove the three lock pins, gaskets and pin shafts of the xed cutting
deck in sequence.
5. Slide the cutting deck out from under the riding mower. At this time, a staff
