Overview
This code indicates that the Forward Looking Radar (FLR) has detected an internal failure.
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Detection
At power up and during operation, the FLR performs a self-test to verify the operation of its internal components. If the device detects an
internal failure, the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is set.
Symptom
The Bendix
™
VORAD
®
VS-400 Collision Warning System and the Bendix
™
SmartCruise
®
adaptive cruise control will fail to operate and the
orange DTC light on the Driver Interface Unit will be illuminated. If SmartCruise
®
adaptive cruise control is enabled, the vehicle’s cruise
control may not operate while this Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is active.
