9. MAINTENANCE
1� Regularly check your connection cables and contacts for tight fit, deformation, cracks or
damage!
2� Check the battery housing for damage� A damaged battery must not be charged and must
be checked!
3� If the running or charging time changes significantly compared to new condition, the battery
should be checked or replaced due to its age!
4� Check the charge status of the LiFePO4 battery regularly!
5� The self-discharge of the LiFePO4 battery is very low at 3%/month if it is not used and stored�
6� Consider replacing the LiFePO4 battery with a new one if one of the following characteristics
occurs:
The runtime of the LiFePO4 battery drops to less than 80% of the original runtime�
The charging time of the LiFePO4 battery increases significantly� increases significantly
