7. Forehead measurement
WARNING:
• P rolonged high fever requires medical attention-especially in young children.
• Only use the device once you have read and understood these instructions for
use.
• T he thermometer needs to be in the room in which the measurement is taken
for at least 30 minutes before use.
• T he FT90 thermometer is only designed for the measuring point on the human
body stated in the instructions for use.
• T he device is only intended for the purpose stated in these instructions for use.
• C hildren must not be allowed to use the device. Medical products are not toys.
• T he device has been designed for practical use, but is not a substitute for a
visit to the doctor.
• S hould you have any questions about using the device, please contact either
your retailer or Customer Services.
• P ackaging materials are a deadly hazard for children and can cause su oca-
tion. Remove all packaging materials immediately and keep them away from
children at all times.
CAUTION:
• C heck before each use that the measuring sensor is intact. If it is damaged,
please contact your retailer or the service address.
• This unit is intended for home use only. It is not intended for professional use
in hospitals or other medical facilities. This unit does not support the standards
required for professional use.
