Aligning the Print Bed (Leveling)
Note
For initial commissioning (service set-up) the service personnel trained by BigRep
will execute the initial leveling.
Aer initial commissioning, leveling will only be necessary aer hardware modifi-
cations, if the device was relocated or if you would like a more accurate leveling.
The bed leveling has an accuracy of 0.3 mm.
Please also read & Chap. 5 Interface and & Chap 6 Operation and Control before
leveling for the first time.
The bed uses nine screws for adjusting its height, the middle screw is fixed and
used as the 0 mm reference. The other eight can be adjusted with a thirteen
wrench to move the bed up (turn the screw counterclockwise) or down (turn the
screw clockwise).
Procedure
1. Turn on the main switch (O) and start the printer.
2. Go to the Temperature Menu.
a. Preheat the printbed to 60 °C. For better leveling results,
wait 30 minutes aer the bed reaches 60°C.
b. Heat the extruders T0 and T1 to 205 °C.
3. Go to the Control Menu and click on HOME ALL.
