3.3. BigRep User Interface
The BigRep User Interface (BigRep UI – referred to as the interface below) des-
ignates the interface for controlling the BigRep ONE, and provides the user with
important information from the printer. The interface is operated via the device’s
touchscreen (R).
Please also refer to & Chap. 5 Interface and & Chap. 6 Operation and Control.
Note: This manual has been created for the BigRep UI version 0.7.4. Please refer to
the additional UI manual to check the specific content in case of updates.
3.4. Slicing Soware
The slicing soware enables you to generate a digital 3D model of the object you
would like to print. The slicing soware transforms this model into data for the
printer, i.e. provides a code for the printer. The slicing soware is not part of the
scope of delivery. For the slicing soware, the General Terms and Conditions of
the respective manufacturer apply.
We recommend using the slicing program Simplify3D [www.simplify3d.com].
Please use the configuration file authorized by BigRep for set-up. It contains all rel-
evant default settings. You can also obtain the configuration file via the customer
portal.

Please contact customer service [support.bigrep.com] if you have questions re-
garding the suitability of individual slicing soware.
The manufacturer will not assume any liability for damages caused by incor-
rect configuration of the slicing soware. Please only use configuration files
authorized by BigRep.
