6.3. Advanced Tests
Osets for extruder T1
The XY calibration prepares the machine for dual extrusion. The calibration must
be done by the user aer replacing the extruder or hotend and aer any reloca-
tion of the printer. It can also be done if a wrong oset between the nozzles is
recognized while using dual extrusion.
› Go to [support.bigrep.com] and download the XY oset calibration files
› Step 1: Calculate the osets with a resolution of 0.5mm
– Print the g-code XY_Calibration_Step1_0.5mm which has a
resolution of 0.5mm
– When the print is finished, DO NOT TAKE IT OFF THE BED.
– Identify the osets. The shapes printed with Extruders 1 and 2 should
just match in one point. Identify the point in which they match and
write down the oset using the template below.
– Go to the Advanced Menu, update the osets and save
