8. Self-Propelled Units Only Uninstall the transmission/
idler plate. Loosen the bolts (B, Figure 15) securing the
transmission plate (A) to the frame. Lift the entire plate up
and away from the frame.

9. Uninstall the engine and impeller assembly (A, Figure
16) from the housing. Loosen the bolts (B) securing
the engine and impeller assembly to the housing. Lift
the entire engine and impeller assembly away from the
housing.

10. Uninstall the impeller (D, Figure 17)Remove the impeller
bolt (A) and washers (B & C). Lift the impeller upward out
of the assembly. If necessary, use a penetrating oil to
help loosen a stuck impeller.
Note:If the impeller does not slide off the impeller shaft with
ease, obtain at 3/4"-16x3" bolt. Thread the bolt by hand into
the impeller nut until the bolt rests against the impeller shaft.
Tighten the bolt slowly to pull the impeller away from the
shaft.
