Mesh Bag
The KV unit comes standard with a mesh debris bag. These
mesh bags are normal replaceable wear items. The bag
can become heavy when overloaded with debris, especially
wet debris.Frequently empty the debris bag to prevent
overloading the bag and bogging down the unit.
Dusty conditions damage the mesh bag, and vacuuming
under dusty conditions is the greatest cause of lost vacuum
performance. Avoid vacuuming in dusty conditions. If
vacuuming must be done under dusty conditions, follow the
tips presented bellow:
• Purchase and use a Felt Bag if conditions will be
exclusively dusty.
• Vacuum intermittently to prevent bog down.
• Clean the mesh bag after each operation. Empty the
bag, and vigorously shake the bag until all loose debris
releases. To deep clean the mesh bag, pressure wash
it. Always allow the bag to dry completely before its next
use!
• Keep a backup/spare debris bag to ensure you can still
operate while the other bag is being cleaned.
Felt Bag
The optional felt bag is ideal for operating in dusty
conditions.Consider purchasing a felt bag if continuously
operating in a dusty climate or environment. Felt bags can
handle dusty conditions that standard mesh bags cannot.
Extensive cleanup, lost operation time, and damage to the
unit can be avoided by using a felt bag in dusty conditions.
Clean the felt bag after use.Empty the bag, and vigorously
shake the bag until all loose debris releases. You may also
strike the bag to loosen and release extra dust. Do not
allow the felt bag to become wet. Do not pressure wash or
submerge the felt bag in water. If necessary, carefully spot
clean with a felt-compatible cleaner.
Impeller
All KV/TKV units are equipped with a five blade serrated,
rotating impeller that vacuums and destroys debris. The
impeller can process different types of debris, but certain
types of debris can cause damage to the impeller. Please see
the "Do" and "Do Not" lists for items that can and cannot be
processed.
DANGER
The impeller is sharp! Injury can occur. Use caution
during operation and maintenance. Always wear heavy-duty
gloves when performing maintenance.

housing.
Do vacuum:
• Leaves, grass clippings, seeds, mulch, blooms, and other
basic yard waste and debris.
