• Small branches up to 1" in diameter. Use the TKV On-
Board Chipper for branches up to 2" in diameter.
• Paper trash.
• Glass bottles (use care and caution).
Do not vacuum:
• Wet yard waste and debris. Do not attempt to operate the
unit under wet conditions.
• Metal including, but not limited to: wire of any kind, nails,
garden stakes, hose fittings, etc.
• Rocks and/or gravel.
Throttle Control

The throttle control (A, Figure 5) controls engine speed. To
increase engine speed, depress the throttle control forward
(B). To decrease engine speed, pull the throttle control back
(A).
DriveBail
The drive bail is only equipped on self-propelling units. Grasp
and squeeze the bail against the upper handle to propel the
unit forward during operation. To stop motion, release the
bail.
Nozzle Height Adjustment Knob

The nozzle height adjustment knob (A, Figure 6) raises and
lowers the front nozzle.Determine how high the nozzle
should be based on the terrain/area to be worked. To
lower the nozzle height, turn the adjustment knob counter-
clockwise. To raise the nozzle height, turn the adjustment
knob clockwise.
On-Board 2" Chipper
TKV units are built standard with an On-Board 2" Chipper.
The on-board chipper is designed to process tree branches
and limb's up to 2" (50.8 mm) in diameter.
DANGER
The chipper is sharp! Injury during operation can occur.
Wear heavy duty gloves and use care when feeding
branches into the chipper.
