Why is my Bissell CROSSWAVE 1785 losing suction power?
- NnleonardSep 12, 2025
There are several reasons why your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner might be losing suction power: * The tanks may not be seated properly. To fix this, turn the power off, remove both tanks, and reseat them so they fit properly on the machine. * The dirty tank may be full. Empty the dirty tank. * The brush window might not be latched in place. Turn the power off, unplug the machine, and reinstall the brush window. * The debris channel in the foot could be clogged. Clean the channel with a paper towel. * The filter might be clogged by debris. Remove debris clogging the filter screen and clean the filter.
