10. Access using SNMP protocol
The unit allows communicaon via SNMP protocol version v1/v2c/v3. Configuraon of SNMP protocol
sengs is performed in the web interface of the strip, details available on page 13 of this manual. BPS2000
Units can be connected serially in a chain, the maximum number of units in a chain for SNMP protocol is 6
strips.
Master/Slave serial connecon
x The first BPS2000 PDU is set as MASTER and the others as SLAVE.
Maximum 6 devices can be connected, including 5 working as SLAVE.
x Connect the IN port of the MASTER unit to the OUT port of the SLAVE1 unit using an ETH cable,
then connect the IN port of SLAVE1 unit to the OUT port of SLAVE2 unit.
We connect subsequent units in an idencal manner.
x Connect the NET port of the MASTER unit to the network port of the computer/network switch.
