Adjusting the volume for Telephone/

Navigation Audio (PHONEVOL)

You can set the volume level at which the

telephone calls or navigation announce-

ments are mixed in.

Press the MENU button 7.

Press the

or button 8 repeat-

edly until "PHONEVOL" is displayed.

After approx. 2 seconds, "VOL" and the cur-

rent setting are shown on the display 6.

Press the

or button 8 to adjust

the volume between 0 and 32.

Note:

You do not have to wait for the display

of the current setting to change it by

pressing the

or button 8.

To exit the menu,

press the MENU button 7.

Note:

Using the volume control 1, you can

also adjust the volume during a tel-

ephone call or a navigation announce-

ment. The adjusted volume is automati-

cally saved.

Switching the conﬁ rmation beep

(BEEP) on/off

For certain actions, e.g. long press of a but-

ton, a conﬁ rmation beep sounds. You can

switch off the conﬁ rmation beep:

Press the MENU button 7.

Press the

or button 8 repeat-

edly until "BEEP" and the current set-

ting "ON" or "OFF" appear on the dis-

play 6.

or button 8 to switch

the beep on or off.

To exit the menu,

press the MENU button 7.

Adjusting the maximum power-

on volume (ON VOL)

When you switch on the device, it plays at

the previously selected volume. However,

if you adjusted the volume before switch-

off to be higher than maximum power-on

volume, the volume is automatically limited

to the adjusted power-on volume when you

switch it on again.

Note:

To protect your hearing, the maximum

power-on volume is limited to the value

25.

Press the MENU button 7.

Press the

or button 8 repeat-

edly until "ON VOL" appears.

After approx. 2 seconds, "VOL" and the cur-

rent setting are shown on the display 6.

Press the

or button 8 to adjust

the maximum power-on volume be-

tween 5 and 25.

Note:

You do not have to wait for the display

of the current setting to change it by

pressing the

or button 8.

To exit the menu,

press the MENU button 7.
