Displaying track information once as
scrolling text
Press the 5 button <.
The ID3 tags for the current track are shown
once as scrolling text on the display 6.
Note:
This function is not available if the dis-
play of track information as scrolling
text is switched off. In the chapter "CD
mode", subchapter "Display of track in-
formation (CD text)", please read the
section "Switching the display of track
information as scrolling text on/off".
Selecting a directory
To move up or down to another directory,
press the
or button 8.
Notes:
The device will automatically skip any
directories that do not contain MP3
fi les.
The device treats all directories and
subdirectories as if they were located
on one level. Repeatedly pressing the
or button 8 will also bring you
to all subdirectories.
Selecting tracks/fi les
To move up or down to another track/fi le in
the current directory,
press the
or button 8.
If you press the
button 8 once, the cur-
rent track will be played again from the be-
ginning.

Fast searching
To fast search backwards or forwards,
press and hold down the
or but-
ton 8 until you reach the desired po-
sition.
Note:
In USB mode, the fast searching re-
verse stops at the beginning of the cur-
rent track each time.
Random track play (MIX)
To play the tracks in the current directory in
random order,
press the 3 button < repeatedly until
"MIX DIR" or "MIX FLD" appears on the
display 6.
The MIX symbol appears on the display
6.
To play all the tracks of the MP3 data carrier
in random order,
press the 3 button < repeatedly until
"MIX ALL" appears on the display 6.
The MIX symbol appears on the display
6.
Cancelling MIX
To end the playback in random order,
press the 3 button < repeatedly until
"MIX OFF" appears on the display 6.
The MIX symbol on the display 6 disap-
pears.
