Switching on/off
There are various ways of switching the de-
vice on/off: When the device is switched
on, the last settings are activated.
Switching on/off with the ON
button
To switch on the device, press the ON
button 1.
To switch off the device, press and hold
down the ON button 1 for longer than
one second.
Switching on/off using the
vehicle ignition
The device can be switched on or off with
the ignition. For this purpose, do not switch
off the device using the ON button 1 but,
instead, the ignition.
After swich-on with the ignition, the last
settings or the status are activated again.
Switching on via telephone
(option)
If the phone is activated with switched-
off device, the device switches on. After
switching off the phone, the device is auto-
matically switched off again. This requires
that the phone is properly connected to the
device and the ignition is switched on.

Switching on with the
microphone
If the microphone 1 (driver) is activated
while the device is switched off, the device
switches on (microphone is not part of the
scope of delivery). After switching off the
microphone, the device is automatically
switched off again. This requires that the
microphone is connected to the device us-
ing the supplied adapter cable and the igni-
tion is switched on.
