Traffi c information reception
Switching traffi c information priority
on/off
Select "TA ON" in the Radio menu.
The priority for traffi c announcements is ac-
tivated if the display shows "TA".
Notes:
If you are leaving the broadcast area
of a set traffi c information station
while listening to a traffi c informa-
tion station, the unit automatically
switches to a new station with traffi c
announcement.
The volume for traffi c announcements
can be adjusted. For further details,
please read the section "Setting the
volume for traffi c announcements" in
the chapter "Adjusting the volume".
Switching bandwidth during
interference (SHARX)
The SHARX function allows you to largely
avoid interference caused by neighbour-
ing radio stations (FM only). Switch on the
SHARX function if the density of radio sta-
tions in your area is very high. For further
details, please read the section "DSC Ra-
dio" in the chapter "DSC menu".

CD mode CCU 02
internal drive
You can use this device to play standard au-
dio CDs with a diameter of 8 and 12 cm.
Risk of severe damage
to the CD drive!
Contoured CDs (shape CDs) are not
suitable for playback.
We accept no responsibility for any dam-
age to the CD drive that may occur as a
result of the use of unsuitable CDs.
Switching to CD mode
If there is no CD inserted in the drive,
gently insert the CD with its printed
side up into the CD tray until you feel
some resistance.
The drive draws in the CD automatically.
If a CD is already inserted in the drive,
press the CD button F for the cockpit
or CD button = for the cabin area.
The playback starts automatically with the
fi rst track.
Starting playback (Play) after
Stop or Pause
Press the button 5.
Interrupting playback (pause)
Press the button 4.
Selecting tracks
Press the button >> 6 or << 3 to se-
lect the next or previous track.
