Adjusting equalizer treble
(E-TREBLE)
You can select 1 of 4 treble frequencies
(10 kHz, 12.5 kHz, 15 kHz, 17.5 kHz).

treble level, please read the section
entitled "Adjusting TREBLE" in this
chapter.
Adjusting the treble frequency
Press the AUDIO button 7.
"BASS" appears on the display.
Press the
or button < repeat-
edly until "ENHANCED" appears on
the display.
Press the MENU/OK button ;.
"E-BASS" appears on the display.
Press the
or button < repeat-
edly until "E-TREBLE" appears on the
display.
Press the
button 9 to open the
E-Treble menu.
"FREQ" and the current setting appear on
the display.
Set the treble frequency with the
or
button 9.
When you have fi nished making your chang-
es,
press the ESC/DIS button 5.

Preamplifi er output
(Preamp-Out/Sub-Out)
You can use the preamplifi er outputs
(Preamp-Out) of the car sound system to
connect external amplifi ers. In addition,
you can connect an amplifi er for operating
a subwoofer to the integrated dynamic low-
pass fi lter of the device (level and cut-off
frequency can be adjusted).
For this purpose, the amplifi ers must be
connected as described in the installation
instructions.
Adjusting Sub-Out level and
Sub-Out cut-off frequency
The sub-out level can be adjusted in 8 in-
crements (0 to +7). You can also select 1 of
4 cut-off frequencies: 0 Hz, 80 Hz, 120 Hz
and 160 Hz.
Press the AUDIO button 7.
"BASS" appears on the display.
Press the

edly until "ENHANCED" appears on the
display.
Press the MENU/OK button ;.
"E-BASS" appears on the display.
