The Routing options menu is displayed.
Touch the Speed profi le fi eld to change be-
tween the available profi les.
Touch the Type of routing fi eld to change be-
tween the various modes:
Dynamic route
With this option, traffi c announcements
are incorporated in the calculation of the
route.
Without TMC reception, the Fast Route is
calculated.
Quick route
This option calculates the shortest route
for the required time.
Short route
This option calculates the shortest route
for the kilometres to be travelled.
Sequentially touch the fi elds Interstates,
Ferries and Tollways and specify whether
they should be included in the route calcula-
tion or avoided.
Allowed
This option includes the corresponding
street type in the calculation of the route.
Avoid
This option avoids the corresponding
street type as far as possible.
Prohibited
This option does not include the corre-
sponding street type in the calculation of
the route.

Touch the Overview button to display an
overview of the route options.
The route options can also be subsequently
changed in the Overview menu.
Map Display during Destination
Guidance
During a navigation, the map display shows differ-
ent navigation tools, route information and sign-
post information:
Navigation Tools
The left and lower area of the map display the fol-
lowing navigation tools:
In case of actions that must be executed in
brief succession, the next to one action is dis-
played in the small upper arrow fi eld.
The yellow triangle represents your position
on the map. A continually changing map sec-
tion ensures that the current position is al-
ways closely centred on the map (so-called
moving map).
The large lower arrow fi eld displays the next
action and the distance to the next action.
If you come closer to the action location,
a bar is also displa
yed to the right of the
lar
ge arrow fi eld instead of the distance:
The more yellow bars are displayed, the
closer you are to the location of the next
action.
