The Logic inputs type nPL parameter page 50 is used to adapt the operation of the logic inputs to the technology of the programmable
controller outputs.
• Set the parameter to POS for Source operation.
• Set the parameter to nEG for Sink operation.
DANGER
UNINTENDED EQUIPMENT OPERATION
• The accidental grounding of logic inputs configured for Sink Logic can result in unintended activation of drive functions.
• Protect the signal conductors against damage that could result in unintentional conductor grounding.
• Follow NFPA 79 and EN 60204 guidelines for proper control circuit grounding practices.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
DANGER
UNINTENDED EQUIPMENT OPERATION
• Do not used a PLC to command the logic input of the drive in sink mode
• If this behaviour is required, contact Schneider Office for additional information.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
