– Background color: Tap to select the background color for the browser.
– Background transparency: Tap to adjust the transparency of the browser background.
– Window color: Tap to select the color of the browser window.
– Window transparency: Tap to adjust the transparency of the browser window.
9.6.2 Speech
On the Apps screen, tap Settings > speech.
Use this setting to configure the speech features.
t Read aloud incoming text messages: Tap to select when to read incoming messages aloud.
t Text to Speech voice: Tap drop-down list to select either a male or female voice.
t Speech language: Tap to select the language used in the speech feature. Select the following checkboxes
in accordance with your situation.
– Allow speech above lock: Select this checkbox to use the voice command feature when the device is
locked.
– Improve recognition for non-native speakers: Select this checkbox to improve the recognition rate of
speech for non-native speakers.
– Enable Speech Recognition Service: Send your recorded speech and supporting data to Microsoft or
its partnering companies to improve their products and services.
9.7 Privacy
9.7.1 Location
On the Apps screen, tap Settings > location.
Use this setting to configure your location settings.
t Location services: Switch this option to On to provide your current location to any apps you have allowed
to access your location information.
t Show icon: Select this checkbox to make the
icon mark your location in the apps that request your
location.
9.7.2 Find My Phone
On the Apps screen, tap Settings > find my phone.
Use this setting to configure the settings used to locate your device.
You can configure this setting after adding the Microsoft account.
