In the case of frequency inverters of the VCB device series, the following is to be
considered:
The devices feature a common internal interface for communication with the interface
converter RS232-KP100 as well as with the extension boards VCI-232 and VCI-485.
With the interface converter RS232-KP100, it is not possible to use an extension board
VCI-232 or an extension board VCI-485 at the same time. Otherwise, there will be
collisions in the data traffic.
Due to the common internal communication interface
− for remote connection via RS232-KP100 and
− to extension board VCI-232 and VCI-485
the following parameter settings are required for a functionally safe teleservice.
