9. VERIFICATION OF TEMPERATURE SENSORS

The PT100
PT100
Temperature sensor comprises a resistance sensor with the value of 100 ohms for a temperature of 0°
and 138.5 ohms for a temperature of 100°. The variation of the resistance to temperature relationship is
linear. The resistance reading is directly proportional to the measured temperature. The sensor is not
polarised. The sensor can be extended using copper wire.
