How to fix battery fault that still indicates after replacing with a new battery in my Bosch Control Panel?
    • A
      Ashley Harris DDSAug 19, 2025
The system tests the battery each time it is arming or every time it is set in location 191. The battery fault can only be cleared after this testing. Also, the voltage of the new battery reaches the normal value after it is charged for some time.

What to do if I can't enter programming mode after powering up my Bosch Control Panel?
    • C
      carrollkristenAug 21, 2025
You may not be able to enter programming mode if the control panel is in an alarm state (e.g., switch tamper or 24-hour zone is not ready) or if the control panel is in the arming state. Programming mode can only be operated when the system is disarmed. Also, ensure that the installer is enabled from the User settings.

Why is the Fault LED always on or flashing on my Bosch Control Panel?
    • Z
      zperkinsAug 25, 2025
The Fault LED might be on or flashing due to several reasons. The time and date might not be set, the battery might be missing or have a voltage lower than 12V, there might be no siren connected, the telephone number might not be programmed correctly, the system might not be connected to the telephone network, the switch tamper might not be connected (unless a short jumper is connected instead), or a plug-in module might not be used in programming. If there is no siren, a >1,2 K resistor can replace it. For plug-in modules such as DX3010, DX4020 or DX4020G, refer to the Installation Guide for detailed measures.

What to do if the keypad is not responding on my Bosch Control Panel?
    • K
      Kevin JacobsAug 30, 2025
Check the Bosch Bus RBGY connections to ensure they are correctly connected. If you entered the wrong code too many times, the keypad will lockout for 3 minutes. Also, if using two keypads, ensure the jumper is correct. When one keypad is used, the other one can only be used 30 seconds later.

What to do if there is no indication on the on-board LED of my Bosch Control Panel?
    • B
      Brandy JonesSep 1, 2025
The absence of indication on the on-board LED could be due to AC Mains power failure or a failed battery. Restore the power to resolve this. If the issue persists, the board itself might be damaged.
