Machine parameters
for
PlC user
bits
Application:
During
each
run-up
phase,
the
control sets marker
bits
dependent
upon
the entries
in
the machine
parameters P141- P144.
This pennits
the
MTB
to
detennine what
machine
functions gated
in
the
PlC
are
to
be
available
to
the
user.
The
MTB
thus
activates functions
in
the machine, which are
to
be
controlled
by
the
PlC,
via
machine parameters.
Machine parameters/entry
syntax:
PlC user bits can
be
set with the following machine parameters:
P141 PICuserbilSMSO.0-MSO.7
P
142 PlC user
bilS
MS1.0
- MS1.7
P 143 PlC user
bilS
MS2.0
- MS2.7
P 144 PlC user bits M53.0 - MS3.7
Numbers between
0 and 255 are accepted. Number 0
selS
all PlC user
bilS
of the byte called with
the machine parameter
to
o. Number 255 is
formed
from the sum of
to
27
and sets all PlC user
bilS
to
1.
AssIgnment
of
the PlC user bits:
The number programmed in the machine parameters
is
assigned
to
the relevant PlC marker byte,
binary-coded.
Example:
The number 178
is
programmed
in
MP 141. The assignment
of
the PlC marker byte 50
is
shown
below.

Explanation:
If
the MTB wishes to activate fUnctions of the machine which are interlocked via marker bits 50.1,
50.4. 50.5
and 50.7, the MTB must enter number 178
in
MP 141, thus releasing these functions.
