Troubleshooting Guide - Electrical
PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
Brake does not stop blade in about
5 seconds.
1. Blade bolt loose.
2. Other.
1. Tighten blade bolt.
2. Authorized service.
Motor does not start. 1. Battery pack not charged.
2. Battery pack not installed
properly.
3. Battery pack temperature is too
hot or cold for operation.
4. Electronic Motor Protection
turned tool off.
5. Burned out switch.
6. Other.
1. Charge battery if needed.
2. Confirm battery is locked and
secured to the tool.
3. Let battery sit a few minutes or
until it reaches normal operating
temperature.
4. Remove battery an replace.
5. Let tool sit a few minutes or until
it reaches normal operating
temperature.
6. Have switch replaced by an Au-
thorized Bosch Service Center
or Service Station.
7. Authorized service.
LED light flashing, motor does not
start.
1. Tool is over heated.
2. Battery is over heated.
1. Let tool cool down.
2. Exchange the battery.
