8 Installation
8.1 Unpacking
f Lift the product from its packaging.
f Dispose of the packaging material in accordance with the national laws of
your country.
8.2 Installation requirements
f During installation the ambient conditions specifi ed in the technical data
(see page 53) must be maintained.
8.2.1 Installation position
f Install the product level and plumb at right angles and parallel to the axis.
This ensures proper functioning and prevents premature wear.
8.2.2 Mounting with T-bolts
• Mount the transfer systems TS 1, TS 2plus, TS 2pv, TS 4plus, TS 5 and the chain
conveyor systems VarioFlow and VarioFlow S with T-head bolt and collar nut.
• Make sure the T-bolt is in the correct position when inserting and tightening in the slot.
The notch at the end of the bolt indicates the orientation of the T-bolt.
f 1 = T-bolt insertion position in the slot.
f 2 = T-bolt clamping position in the slot.
f Tightening torque: 25 Nm (M8).
8.3 Required tools
• Hex head cap screw SW13.
• Hex socket head cap screw SW3, SW4, SW5, SW6.
• Cross recess screwdriver PZ2
• Rubber mallet
• Spirit level
• Expanding pliers
• Cutter to shorten the lubrication line.
