Winterizing your appliance
If your dishwasher will be unused
for an extended period of time in a
location that experiences freezing
temperatures (vacation home or
through a vacation period), have
your dishwasher winterized by an
authorized service provider.
18.3 Transporting the appli-
ance
To avoid damage to the appliance,
empty it before transporting.
Note:Always transport the appliance
upright to prevent residual water
getting into the machine's controls and
damaging the appliance.
1. Remove dishware from the
appliance.
2. Secure loose parts.

4. Select the cycle with the highest
temperature.

6. To drain the appliance, terminate
the cycle after approx. 4minutes.

7. Switch off the appliance.
8. Close the water supply valve.
9. To empty the residual water out of
the appliance, detach the supply
hose and let the water drain out.
18.4 Disposal of your old ap-
pliance
Environmentally sound disposal allows
valuable raw materials to be recycled.
WARNING
Avoid a risk of entrapment upon
disposal.
Unplug the appliance from the
power outlet.
Cut the power cord and remove the
door upon discarding the appliance.
Check your local area for large
appliance recycling programs.
