4 Changing the brake lining
4 Changement de garniture de frein
Conventional hub bearing:
[2] Remove the split pin from the axle nut and
unscrew.
[3] Using the extractor cap (BPW no. see page
22). and withdraw the wheel hub unit with the
wheels from the axle stub.
[4] Withdraw rear taper roller bearing, see fig. 46,
page 516.
[3] Unscrew the axle nut.
 Unscrew the axle nut to withdraw the
complete wheel, hub, drum, bearing and
seal arrangement from the stub axle.
[4] Remove the complete hub bearing unit side
ways from the axle (wheel mounting trolley).
The brake is now accessible.
Roulements de moyeu conventionnel :
[2] Dégoupiller et dévisser l’écrou de fusée.
[3] Visser l’arrachemoyeux (no BPW voir 22).
Retirer de la fusée le moyeu cpl. avec les roues.
[4] Retirer le roulement interieur, voir fig. 46,
page 516.
[3] Dévisser l'écrou de fusée.
 L'unité du moyeu compact est retirée des
sièges de roulement de la fusée.
[4] Enlever latéralement l'unité du moyeu compact
de l'essieu (chariot de montage de roues).
Le frein est maintenant dégagé.
