3.2 Changing Pads
The procedure of changing the pads of your BFO disk brake can differ
from other disk brakes. Please observe and follow the mounting steps
below carefully or else air can get into the system.
) Remove wheel.
) Turn pressure setting wheel 2 rotations clockwise (-) (pic. 5).
) Carefully lever pads apart with at and brought screwdriver or at tyre
lever until higher counter-pressure becomes noticeable.
) Turn pressure setting wheel 2 rotations clockwise (-) again.
) Carefully lever pads apart again until higher counter-pressure becomes
noticeable (pic. 16).
) Repeat this procedure once or twice until the support plate (2) of the
pads is almost touching the caliper.
