ONE-YEARLIMITEDWARRANTY
This Salton/MAXIMproductwarrantyextendsto the originalconsumerpurchaserof the product
Warranty Duration:This product is warranted to the original consumer purchaser for a period of one
(1)year from the original purchase date.
WarrantyCoverage:Thisproductis warrantedagainstdefectivematerialsor workmanship.This
warrantyis voidifthe producthasbeendamagedbyaccident,in shipment,unreasonableuse,
misuse,neglect,improperservice,commercialuse,repairsbyunauthorizedpersonnelor other
causesnotarisingoutof defectsin materialsor workmanship.Thiswarrantyis effectiveonlyffthe
productis purchasedandoperatedinthe USA,anddoesnotextendto anyunitswhich havebeen
usedin violationofwritteninstructionsfurnishedbySalton/MAXlMHousewares,Inc.,orto units
which havebeenalteredor modifiedor to damageto productsor partsthereofwhich havehadthe
serialnumberremoved,altered,defacedor renderedillegible.Wearandtear for BreadPanand
Paddleis notconsidereda manufacturer'sdefect.
WarrantyDisclaimers:Thiswarrantyisin lieuofall warrantiesexpressedorimpliedandno
representativeor personisauthorizedtoassumefor Salton/MAXIMHousewares,Inc.anyother
liabilityinconnectionwiththesaleof ourproducts.Thereshallbenoclaimsfor defectsorfailureof
performanceorproductfailureunderanytheoryoftort,contractorcommerciallawincluding,butnot
limitedto,negligence,grossnegligence,strictliability,breachofwarrantyandbreachofcontract.
WarrantyPerformance:Duringthe aboveone-yearwarrantyperiod,a productwithadefectwillbe
eitherrepairedorreplacedwith a reconditionedcomparablemodel(atSalton/MAXIM'soption)when
theproductis returnedtotheSalton/MAXIMfacility.Therepairedor replacementproductwillbein
warrantyforthe balanceofthe one-yearwarrantyperiodandanadditionalone-monthperiod.No
chargewill bemadeforsuchrepair orreplacement.

Shouldthe appliancemalfunction, you shouldfirst calltoll-free 1-800-233-9054betweenthe hours of
9:00am and5:00pm CentralStandard _me andask for CONSUMERCUSTOMERSERVICEstatingthat
you are a consumerwith a problem.
In-Warranty Service:Foran appliance coveredunder the warranty period, no charge is madefor
service or postage.Callfor pro-paid return mailing label. (U.S.Customers 0nly)
Out-of Warranty Service:A flat rate charge by model is madefor out-of-warranty service. Include
$15.00for return shipping and handling.
Salton/MAXlM cannotassumeresponsibility for loss or damageduring incoming shipment. Foryour
protection, carefullypackagethe product for shipment andinsure it with the carrier.Be sureto
enclose the following itemswith your appliance: any accessories related to your problem;your full
return addressanddaytimephone number; a note describing the problem you experienced; a copyof
yoursales receipt or other proof of purchase to determinewarranty status. C.O.D.shipmentscannot
be accepted.
