5.6 Easi-Set, ANTI-ROLL PLATES
These anti-roll plates are of unique design having “side
wings” that facilitate extremely easy adjustment and give
a wide leeway when positioning against the edge of the
blade or knife.

5.7 FEED SCREWS
5030 and 5040 microtomes are fitted with a feed screw that controls the section thickness
range. These feed screws may be freely changed so that a new section thickness range can be
given to the microtome in a matter of minutes (when warm).
