2-10. Upper shaft and tension pulley mechanisms
1. Loosen the two set screws (1), and then remove the pulley assembly (2).
2. Remove the two screws (3), and then remove the synchronizer assembly (4) from the arm.
3. Remove the two bolts (5) and plain washers (6), and then remove the tension pulley assembly (7).
4. Remove the screw (8) and set screw (9), and then remove the thread take-up crank (10) from the upper shaft
assembly (11).
5. Loosen the two set screws (12), and then remove the set screw collar (13).
6. Loosen the two set screws (14), and then remove the bobbin winder pulley (15).
7. Loosen the two set screws (16), and then remove the timing pulley U assembly (17).
8. Remove the timing belt (18).
9. Remove the ball bearing (19).
