6-12. Work clamp arm mechanism (KE-4300)
Be careful not to drop these seven ball bearings
when installing the work clamp arm assembly.
Push the work clamp arm lever plate in the direction
of
the
arrow to raise the work clamp by about 5
mm
, and then press
the bearing ball gently against the underside
of
the work
clamp arm support plate and secure the
su
pport shaft with
the set screw.

After installing, carry out test feedi

and check that the needle hole is
in

e work clamp and the feed plate
frame. If the needle hole is not inside the frame, adjust the position
of
the work clamp arm assembly and feed plate.
